About Intus in Mente
Intus in Mente means “Inside my Mind” from the Latin language. This site was made and currently being managed by Angelu Gawaran, a 20 year old Filipina from Bacoor, Cavite. It is composed of different blog pages in which each tackles about different topics and whatnots. Gawaran writes book and film reviews, her traveling experiences and other things such as expressive and creative writing, and other special favorites.
Gawaran is a graduate of Far Eastern University, Manila with a degree of AB in Mass Communication. As a student, she was an executive committee of the FEU Mass Communication Society at the Logistics Department. She also experienced being the Sound Director for their Television Production at Primo TV. She was the Web Content Editor for the website of their Film Production (kathaproductions.weebly.com) and Line Producer as well for Katha Productions. She was the researcher of an Investigative Report documentary at BenThropy Productions and the Edit Supervisor at Catalyst Productions. For their theater production, she directed, contributed and translated some parts for Blue Room by Primo Teatro Dei Sessi.
Gawaran worked for Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC) - Love Radio Manila as a trainee and was then moved as the very first Social Media Intern for MBC and managed the social media accounts of Love Radio Manila, Yes! FM Manila and Easy Rock Manila (Twitter and Facebook) and the official twitter account of Aliwan Fiesta last 2013. After graduation, she had her 2-day internship training at GaiaX Asia Corporation. She is now the new Web Content Producer of Manila Broadcasting Company.
Gawaran considers herself as a Social media, Film, and Book buff. She started writing poems and short stories at the age of 9 years old. Writing has always been her outlet for she is not vocal to her personal feelings that much. She was a timid and quiet girl who grew into an independent and confident lady. Gawaran always say that the child in her will always be there and will always be with her. She is very imaginative and still believes in the goodness of each and everyone. She believes and is a huge fan of stories about aliens, zombies, witches, magic, elves, hobbits, and such. You might think that she is crazy but she is, actually, in a good way. She loves her family so much and cherishes them always. She is the mixture of an extrovert and introvert because, she cannot be defined as one, she said. She is strangely bizarre and uniquely different, and yes, she likes to use confusing words. Anyway, history taps her interest. She loves storytelling and telling stories. She is a sweet-tooth sufferer and a fruit junkie. She likes to do good things in secret, and she would not tell me why. She has a shallow happiness and a deep mind who likes road trips and travelling. She likes music, who does not anyway. She loves to sing and dance and lose herself into happiness. She values humanity, honesty, bravery, and genuine goodness. Gawaran is kind, believe me, you can to talk to her.
